Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer, born in 1732 and pass away in 1809. He is known world wide and is one of the "most prominent composer of the classical period". The mostly known characteristic of Haydn is that a large "structure" comes out of very simple music.
Through out the music "Rondo", there are many slurs, articulations and there are no key change. But almost toward the end of the music there are B flats and g sharp, f sharp, and d sharp. The time signature is 2/4, so that means there are 2 quarter notes per measure.
The music starts with "Piano(softly)" till bar 19 when it changes to "Mezzo forte(moderately loud)" and again at bar 23 it switches to "Forte(Loud)". The "Special" part to this music is bar 27 ~ 31 it's called "stz" which is also known as "Sforzando, sforzato, sf" and means "Accented (forced)". Through out the music, there are 8th, 16th, dotted quarter notes with an eight notes and half notes.
The music is marked Allegro, and the flautist start at bar 5, the notes before bar 5 are for the piano accompaniment. There is a repeat at bar 13, so you have to go back to the start of the music and play it again (but do not repeat at the second time).
At the end of the piece it has "D.S. al Fine(no repeat)" which means "Dal Segno". Now, you have to go back to bar 5 and play to bar 26(where it says "Fine") Now during this play you do NOT repeat the repeat in bar 13.
